 Naples Christian Academy is a U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School. The Academy officially received this prestigious designation on October 2, 2007. The Blue Ribbon School Award is the highest award granted by the U.S. Department of Education.

On May 17th, we held a special assembly with representatives from the Dream Machine Recycle Rally, PepsiCo, and Waste Management where they presented our school with a check for $8,000. What a great blessing! We also learned more about our recycling efforts.
The representative from PepsiCo referenced the following stats:
Total bottles recycled from NCA = 662,759
Total bottles per student = 4,634
According to the EPA Waste Reduction Model (WARM), this amount of recycling would:
Completely power 8 houses for 1 year
Generate the same amount of power as 151 barrels of oil
Generate the same amount of power as 7,000 gallons of gasoline
